La indagación señaló como objetivo determinar la relación entre el control interno y gestión de inventarios en una empresa ubicada en la capital limeña perteneciente al rubro de ferretería, para lo cual optó por una metodología compuesta por el tipo básica, diseño no experimental transversal, enfoque cuantitativo y nivel relacional; teniendo como muestra a 20 colaboradores de la empresa Pakassa S.R.L., quienes de forma voluntaria respondieron a dos cuestionarios conformados por una serie de interrogantes medidas en escala ordinal. Los resultados evidenciaron un nivel medio (95%) el control interno, de igual forma la gestión de inventarios con el 85%, donde todas las dimensiones del control interno presentaron relación significativa con la variable gestión de inventarios tales como ambiente de control (47.2%), gestión y prevención de riesgos (47%), actividades de control (46.5%), información y comunicación (46.3%) y supervisión y monitoreo (46.2). Finalmente se concluyó en afirmar la hipótesis de investigación, es decir, la relación entre el control interno y la gestión de inventarios en la empresa Pakassa S.R.L., San Juan de Lurigancho, 2021; es directa y significativa.
The investigation aimed to determine the relationship between internal control and inventory management in a company located in the capital of Lima belonging to the hardware sector, for which it opted for a methodology composed of the basic type, non-experimental transversal design, quantitative approach. and relational level; having as a sample 20 employees of the company Pakassa S.R.L., who voluntarily answered two questionnaires made up of a series of questions measured on an ordinal scale.
